Feral goats and
donkeys eat the
native plants which
means there is less
food available for parrots.
The parrots then get into trouble eating from people’s gardens, and introduced cats and rats kill parrot eggs and chicks.
Our conservation initiatives deal with these issues! Find out more: About Us Achievements
By providing solutions to threats such as illegal trade and habitat degradation our work benefits these incredible parrots and their ecosystem on Bonaire.
Echo is dedicated to the protection of the Yellow-shouldered Amazon Parrot, which is threatened with extinction! On Bonaire there are only 800 left. Illegal poaching
continues and people cut open nest trees to steal the chicks.
US Donors benefit from tax relief!

Help pet and wild parrots on Bonaire!
With your support the Echo team will be able to improve the lives of pet parrots and provide better care to rehabilitate injured wild parrots.
Following on from the successful rescue the Echo team are now in a position to help pet parrots. By providing free vetrinary care we will improve the lives of captive birds.
The same equipment will make it possible for Echo to care and rehabilitate injured wild birds giving them a better chance of returning to the wild.
Please send a donation today. Your support will make a tremendous difference for these parrots.
