Conservation Tours

Conservation Tours

Visit Echo’s conservation centre to learn about the charismatic and threatened Yellow-shouldered Amazon Parrot and Echo’s conservation efforts to protect them.

When you visit, you’ll meet rescued and released parrots at Echo’s facility and enjoy a unique experience as you walk through Bonaire’s dry forest and discover the island’s topside.

Conservation Tours

TouKiki Lolars take place at Echo’s Conservation Centre, Kunuku Dos Pos, a 30-minute drive from Kralendijk town centre. Led by a guide, the tours are friendly, interactive, and fun and last from 1-1.5 hours, depending on how many questions are asked.  The tour guide will meet you at the windmill on Dos Pos.

Don’t forget to wear good shoes for off-road walking – it’s not a trail for flip-flops or sandals! Bringing water and bug spray is also recommended.

Private Tours

Due to Covid-19 ordinance only Private tours are available! We recommend early in the morning at 8.00 a.m., when the birds are most active and you can experience feeding our ambassador parrots, or in the afternoon at 5:00 p.m. if you’re looking for a great way to wind down your day.
Please book at least 48 hours in advance to ensure that we can accommodate your request.
Private tours are $25 per person for a minimum of two people, please bring a cash payment on the day of your tour.

The revenue and donations made on tours contributes to help Bonaire’s Parrots and their natural environment.
