Conservation Tours

Visit Echo’s conservation centre to learn about the charismatic and threatened Yellow-shouldered Amazon Parrot and Echo’s conservation efforts to protect them.

When you visit, you’ll meet rescued and released parrots at Echo’s facility and enjoy a unique experience as you walk through Bonaire’s dry forest and discover the island’s topside.

Public Tours

TouKiki Lolars take place at Echo’s Conservation Centre, Kunuku Dos Pos, a 30-minute drive from Kralendijk town centre, every Saturday morning at 8.00 a.m. No booking is necessary. Groups meet at the windmill on Dos Pos. Led by a guide, the tours are friendly, interactive, and fun and last from 1-1.5 hours, depending on how many questions are asked.

Don’t forget to wear good shoes for off-road walking – it’s not a trail for flip-flops or sandals! Bringing water is also recommended.

The cost for the public tour is $10 per person and contributes to help Bonaire’s natural environment.

Private Tours

Private tours are also available! We recommend early in the morning at 8.00 a.m., when the birds are most active and you can experience feeding our ambassador parrots, or in the afternoon at 5:00 p.m. if you’re looking for a great way to wind down your day.  Times may be adjusted upon booking based on the time of year and amount of wild bird activity. Please book your private tour using the calendar below. Please book at least 48 hours in advance to ensure that we can accommodate your request. Private tours are $25 per person for a minimum of two people, please bring a cash payment on the day of your tour.
